Some German guys and gals are protesting against the invasive and privacy-violating airport x-ray body scanners. We give props to these German protesters. We are with them in spirit.

Remember the airport X-Ray body scanner which we blogged about last year? This intrusive privacy-violating thingie practically sees every inch of your body but governments around the world are planning to use them purportedly to combat terrorists. Well, guess what, here’s a video from Germany which shows the scanner catching a man’s cell phone, army knife, and the microphone he was wearing. However, the body scanner didn’t catch bomb components which he hid in his body. So individual privacy is being violated for nothing, eh?
