This is just an amazing story which will hopefully remind us human beings to take care of our fellow creatures. Thank you Mila, the Beluga whale, for saving one of our kind. Here’s a fan-made photo-video of Mila’s rescue of Yang Yun complete with what we believe are whale sounds.

Ever heard of donkey basketball? Nope? Well this is the first time we heard of it also but its a game where some guys from Iowa (and we presume other states) ride a donkey and play basketball.
Not surprisingly, them PETA peeps are angry about this but donkey basketball “enthusiasts” are not batting an eye.
May 3rd, 2009 — Amazing World, Animal World
Isn’t this cute? William aka The Pig rubs his nose with Charles aka The Rabbit. The two live together at the Pennywell Farm, in Buckfastleigh, Devon where they’re reportedly fast becoming a tourist attraction.
The Daily Mail reports:
Chris Murray, co-owner of the tourist attraction, said: “To keep William the miniature pig happy, he is given time out on the grass. When they are out, Charles heads for a quiet spot in the sun and William seeks him out and tries to play with him.”

Wow. This is just amazing. A long-shot scores an upset at the Kentucky Derby.
From AP: Mine That Bird dug up a miracle, stunning the field to win the Kentucky Derby with a dynamic stretch run through the mud Saturday at Churchill Downs.

These photos are cute and awesome but we can’t help but be reminded of the tragedy caused by Travis the Chimp.
