NFL Footballers Bulge: Shawne Merriman, San Diego Chargers

Today in shirtless NFL footballers, we bring you Shawne Merriman, linebacker for the San Diego chargers, who’s posing in this photoshoot with his two dogs. Okay, we are not really sure whether these are his dogs.

Anyhoo, Shawne has been in the news lately after he was charged with battery and false imprisonment for allegedly choking and detaining his girlfriend Tila Tequila.

We don’t know what happened to his case but what we found most interesting about it is that Tila, a really teeny weeny petite girl, reportedly did a citizen’s arrest on Shawne who, as you can see in his pic, is a bulging muscle hunk of a man.

Did she go, “You are under arrest!!!!” and handcuff him? That would make her Teh Awesome in our book.
