Torn jeans, the enemy of image-conscious parents concerned about what their neighbors will say should their kids wear one, is never gonna go out of style.
If you are not a fan of torn jeans (we’re ambivalent about it), you can rightfully blame the hippies for starting this trend and some celebrities like R&B and pop princess Ciara, seen here performing in her pair of torn Abercrombies, for keeping the practice of “jeans-tearing” alive.
By the way, did you know that Ciara’s single with Justine Timberlake, Love Sex Magic, is banned in Turkey supposedly because of its explicit lyrics. Silly conservative censors.
