Connie Fisher and Jeremy Reed: Engaged!

In this day and age, it is kind of hard to find the right man/woman, so this story about actress/singer Connie Fisher and banker Jeremy Reed meeting and falling in love on a crowded train station is really cool, no? Here’s some bits from the Daily Mail:

The pair met in Cardiff less than a year ago when they found themselves sharing a seat on a train station. Connie said: ‘I had a feeling he was going to start talking to me and I thought: “That’s all I need, some sleazy guy trying to chat me up.”

‘We had a bit of a conversation but I didn’t even look at him.Then after a few minutes it seemed like I was being rude … so I turned round and there was this absolutely gorgeous, rugged man with the cutest dimples.’

The pair got on different trains without exchanging phone numbers or email addresses. Jeremy, from Barry, South Wales, didn’t recognise the singing star but knew she was in a show and managed to trace her through a showbiz friend.

Ahh, good old fashioned boy-meets-girl. The two are now engaged. Congratulations you two. Soon we will be listening to the pitter-patter of little feet.
