Celebrities, they’re just like us. They bear kids like the rest of us. They fall in love, go shirtless, worry about their dick size, get accused of husband-stealing, and lose their hair.
So what do they do when they lose their hair? Why, they’d do what some of us would do to solve the problem: hair transplants or hair implants. One such celeb who went the hair transplant route is Irish actor James Nesbitt. Check out his before and after pics below:
Nesbitt began losing his hair in his early twenties and has always been vocal about his hatred of going bald.
In 2001 he admitted taking vitamin tablets in an attempt to slow his hair loss, and four years ago he said he was using a lotion to try to stimulate his follicles.
Although he said the sensation made his scalp feel like it was ‘going to explode’, he added: ‘It opens the pores of the scalp to encourage new growth. It’s ridiculous, but it’s horrible going bald. Anyone who says it isn’t is lying.’
Nesbitt, who used to worry that his baldness would affect his career, wore a thick black wig for his lead role in 2007 BBC drama Jekyll.
‘I’ve been saying to make-up artists for years that I want a full head of curly black hair and now I’ve got it,’ he said at the time. ‘It’s great that I finally get to wear wigs.’
