Look who’s become the center of controversy after her saucy photos were discovered on the internets. It’s Natasha Gray! And what’s so controversial about them photos? Nothing per se. But it turns out that Natasha is a sports teacher in a community college so some parents of her students (some as young as 11) were “disturbed” following this discovery.
Says an anonymous parent who wrote a letter to the school’s principal about Tasha’s extra-curricular activities:
”I am a parent of a pupil at Manor Community College in Cambridge and was surprised when my child came home from school informing me that one of their teachers had some what I would call provocative pictures on a website.
”From doing a bit of digging, it is apparently common knowledge about these photos, and has been for some time.”Any teacher is in a position of trust and surely this is inappropriate for not only the school, but also pupils. I am disgusted that, even if these were taken before she became a teacher, Miss Gray has not even attempted to remove them. I assume the pupils have a good giggle about it but I find it rather crass.’
Crass in class, eh? Anyways, Tasha was reportedly reprimanded over this scandal. Says Principal Ben Slade:
”I knew nothing about this. It is not on the school’s internet and we have very robust policies on how staff should behave in school. This will certainly be dealt with most severely and will certainly be a disciplinary matter.
”Teachers are entitled to their union representation and Miss Gray has been spoken to. She will be asked to take the pictures down. This is not a matter for suspension, as much as I would like it to be in this case.
”If the pictures were more pxrnxgraphic or if they involved someone of a dubious age it would be more serious.”
So it’s a good thing, Tasha didn’t do an Edita Bente, eh?

Parents should rather be concerned about their children lying around in some park with a 2L bottle of cider at 2am. How did their children find out about the pictures in the first place? They should rather spend their time teaching their kids respect and manners.

My kids go to this school, I know Miss Gray through them. She is a superb teacher and an incredably good peer for the kids. The fact she looks good and has a few “glossy” pics should not be held against her.

Can’t see the problem with them myself, i have a 13 year old son, if he came back and told me that he had found ‘images’ like these of his teacher on a website, the first thing i would ask him is how did he find them, they are not something just stumbled across whilst carrying out research for homework!
It does not affect her teaching or her as a teacher, Mr. Slade should keep his nose out of business that doesn’t concern him, i just hope that none of the other teachers at the school, drink, smoke, swear or break the speed limit in their cars, surely this could also be deemed as inappropriate behavior.
Maybe the parents of the child who found the images should look at their parental control settings on their internet, failing this they may have to remove every home shopping catalogue, magazine and TV in their house, as similar images is openly available in all three.
Once again, a complete over-reaction by the headmaster, who is the one who should feel embarrassed and ashamed.
An average to pretty looking woman in her early 30s should really focus on a career that will actually pay her mortgage. Because I know the definition of a ‘model’ in this country is a little fuzzy but if this woman can make enough money out of her looks to support herself, I’m bloody Heidi Klum.

Blimey – if this is a cause for concern then I have grave concerns for children the world over. If more teachers did this then just think how many parents would actually take an interest in their childrens’ education and want to go to parents evening. On first reading an article on this story I had my reservations, but, in all honesty it’s not as tasteless as the media’s painted.
Still, it seems a little irresponsible… i’m not sure i’d appreciate this woman being a role model for my kids to look up to.
These are very cheap photographs and i think the entire point of the hype over the photographs was not whether she looked attractive in them or not but that as a teacher, she has chosen a career path in which it is irresponsible and unprofessional to say the least to have photographs such as these published. She is employed to train studetns to become the best that they can be, not teach the class while pictured in her thong on the paper, it takes away any educational credibility she may have and I can guarantee she will launch a complaint with the school over comments from studetns over her paper appearance. I object very strongly to the interference of her employer into this woman’s private life! The small-minded Head of the college admits that there is no case for dismissal (back in the day, the term was ‘moral turpitude’). Just read on internet that the teacher has quit her job. I think that was drastic. She never hurt any of the students and what she did in her own free time was up to her. I am a teacher in a high school and I work evenings in a massage parlour but it is 2 miles from the school and out of the batchment area. Only ever had one student cme in and I obviously said no. Returned their money. So it shows that there do not have to be limits imposed on us. We have the sense to r’egulate ourselves’ so to speak.

I'm amazed at the head's stance on this given the college's status as a specialist performing arts college. Modelling is a performing art. The shots are not pornographic – she looks fantastic in them & I think she sets a great example. Would there be the same furore if she'd posed naked for a painting?

Let’s get things in perpsective here. We have schools teaching sex education in primary school. We have them teaching tha male-male and female-female parent realtionships are normal – no real problem with that. So why cannot an attractive woman have her pictures (tasteful ones) displayed without criticism? BTW I assume the head teacher looked longingly at them first!
The Problem is it detracts from her work as a teacher. Instead of being judged as a teacher were all talking about her as a piece of meat on a purely looks basis.
That’s fine for a model as that’s the job and the life and all the attention that comes with the role. For a Teacher it is a distraction to male pupils and doesn’t really teach young males to respect women does it.
The one thing no-one is talking about is what she actually does for a living.

It’s a sad indictment of this country that this sort of thing happens. If I were her I’d sue the school. Who the hell does the Head think he is? What someone does in their own time is their own business as long as it is not illegal. The pics weren’t even glamour/topless. The fact that it was an anonymous letter should have given the game away – where I work if someone doesn’t give their details we don’t take any notice.
