Ugh. We don’t like this girl already because she’s making a big fuss when she doesn’t even allege that she got AIDS from him. She’s only claiming that Roberto has AIDS. So what if he has AIDS? If she didn’t get AIDS from him, what is her case based on then? Nope, don’t give us that crap about emotional damages and stuff.

In the $15 million action filed in Brooklyn Federal court, Ilya Dall, of Queens, said the ballplayer tested positive for HIV in 2006 and a doctor later told him he had AIDS.
Dall said she tested negative for the disease – but is claiming punitive damages for emotional distress. She also claims her children were exposed to the virus.
Alomar, 41, a 12-time All Star, who retired from baseball in 2005, began dating Dall in 2002, and began having unprotected sex with her a short time later, according to the suit.
Her suit does not claim that he knew he had AIDS when they were having unprotected sex – but he had reason to think he might because his doctors kept advising him to be tested. He procrastinated and told her he was disease free, the suit says. In 2004, she said, she noticed he had cold sores. The following year he was diagnosed with a blood disorder that’s linked to AIDS, the suit says.
Also in 2005, Alomar told Dall that when he once was raped by two Mexican men after playing a Ballgame in New Mexico, according to the suit. [NY Post]

I agree, she’s trying to cash in cause he dumped her ass, Even if he does have aids, it didn’t know it while they were having unprotected sex, it’s crap, and the fact that she kept on having sex with him despite (so she says) insisting on him getting tested is all the more reason for this to be laughed out of court…
go to thesmokinggun.com you can read the actual court papers there, plainly in my eyes anyway the law suit is a joke, it’s a woman scorned is all, Good luck Robbie Alomar, Like i said on another board, it doesn’t matter if he’s got AIDS or not, he’s still one of the best second basemen in baseball history, and the Jay’s probably wouldn’t have won two world series championships with out him, I honestly think the law suit is crap but if it does turn out to be true then yes he should pay, and pay dearly, But even his present girlfriend says it’s a total lie, and that she had either sent him an email or a phone message or something saying: “I am going to destroy you” now that’s serious shit man, excuse the language, And I’ve seen women that vindictive, let’s remember men aren’t the only people who obsese over x’s, women do it to from time to time!, Hopefully this will all be cleard up in court one way or another, And IF Roberto is sick than people just need to leave him alone, let him come around on the subject on his own time, im probably not in the wrong when i say that finding out you have an illness like this would scare the hell out of you, and you might not know how to handle it for quite a while, So if and I mean IF he is sick let the man live in peace, and IF he is sick maybe one day he can come out and not be ashamed of this and actually help people in the fight against this horrible disease, I’ve lost three family members myself to this disease and it’s not nice, but any and all help specially from someone with such a name like roberto alomar could be a huge asset in this war, and really that’s what it is, a war on AIDS, once again Good luck Roberto, I hope your negative and healthy, and I wish nothing but good things for you,
