Bromance: Chris Favis

Aha, the token Asian dude (he’s Filipino-American) of Bromance. Methinks he doesn’t have a great chance of becoming Brody Jenner’s bromance. Why? Because save for Yul Kwon in Survivor-Cook Islands, Asian-Americans for whatever reason don’t do well in reality shows. Secondly, Chris Favis is also more of a geek than a jock as you can see in his self-introduction which goes on and on and on. From MTV:

I was born and raised in Chicago, IL as both my parents are full Filipinos from the Philippines. I’ve never been out of this country, but I fully understand the Filipino language, Tagalog. I moved to Florida when I was 8, to Palm Harbor, and went to elementary school there. Then moved to Lakeland where I finished school at Valley View, went to Lakeland Highlands, then to Highschool! I went to a performing art school for acting, but also loved to dance and sing. Being 3/4 of the asian population (me and my half chinese friend) I enjoyed being the token asian kid. Once out of that, I didn’t pursue acting, for it was just a great outlet to be my outgoing self now.

I continued to UCF to study Digital Media and to follow my 8 year old dream to be a Pornstar producer. (I’m just kidding). Really, I went into design and video to learn the basics of digital design. I also jumped into a huge cultural cesspool of asians and found the other part of what I was missing in college (for years I thought I was white…. weird) This recent Spring, I graduated and got my BA in Digital Media and now co-own my own company with my best friend Quan, who is vietnamese. The company is called Bluemotion and we do video and photography for Event Coverage, Promotions, and Wedding. We also do a lot of Digital Design! Also, Porn, if you’re interested in being an actor. (Yo Psych! Yeah I know I brought up porn a lot, but it’s funny to me.)

Right now I reside in Kissimmee Florida, the original Disney city (Beside Orlando, FL) and I work a full time as a Pharmacy Tech, (Which is super weird, just trying to save money) Yes, I live with my two roomates, who I also call Mom and Dad. Just for a year, so I can buy a Townhouse with Quan to go fulltime with Bluemotion. But on the weekends, I work on building Bluemotion and Edit/Design/Produce the video side of the company. I am also an inspiring comedian (a lil hobby) I love the spotlight, and I’m a Triple threat, without the threat! (I can sing, act, and dance, but none amazingly) I sing Karaoke, (HAHA) I do hip-hop choreo (But not professionally, and learned all the nsync dances) and I love doing funny short films and just being goofy in front of people 24/7. That’s who I am and I love it. Where else will you find an open minded/compassionate/loving/energetic Filipino guy who wants to be a pornstar? RIGHT HERE! Where do i sign up?

See. Anyways, for the reasons I stated above, methinks Chris has a better chance of becoming the pornstar that he aspires to be than becoming Brody’s BFF.
