Sarah Palin’s Tanning Bed

Is Sarah Palin an elitist? One of the first things she reportedly did when she became governor of Alaska is to install a tanning bed, like the one in the picture, in the governor’s mansion. Public funds was not reportedly used to buy the tanning bed but it does say something about a person’s elitism if you spend thousands of money for something so expensive and so unimportant.

I wonder what her “Christian” brothers and sisters will say about this wasteful spending. Methinks they will just shrug it off, make rationalizations, and say “Don’t judge” despite the fact that, if things were the other way around, they would be vociferous in their open condemnation and judgment. Very “Christian” huh?
