Honestly, we think nagpapapansin lang itong si Jobert Sucaldito. If they did not sign a contract in paper eh anong breach of contract ang sinasabi niya? Oral agreement lang ginawa nila. Jobert himself admits that their verbal contract lacked formal signing. So kung walang final signing in paper di hindi na-finalize ang kanilang contract. Ibig sabihin, walang kontrata, usap-usapan pa lang.

Columnist sues Gabby Concepcion for breach of contract
ABS-CBN: Columnist and radio dzMM host Jobert Sucaldito on Wednesday sued fellow ABS-CBN talent Gabby Concepcion after the actor backed out of an endorsement deal that Sucaldito was brokering.
Sucaldito said Concepcion and his manager Rose Flaminiano had verbally agreed to endorse a skin-whitening product and receive P2 million as talent fee. He said he later learned that Concepcion had already signed a deal to endorse a rival product.
“This is a breach of contract for oral agreement not completed and perfected. All it lacked was the contract signing,” Sucaldito told reporters.
“We have to take care of our word of honor. Not everything in the world is about money,” he said.
In the lawsuit filed before the Quezon City Regional Trial Court, Sucaldito is demanding P2.8 million in damages from Concepcion and Flaminiano for backing out of the project. He said he had scheduled the contract signing for April 24 when he found out that Concepcion had already signed an endorsement deal with a competing product.
“I felt betrayed. A lot has been said, has been written about in interviews and it’s like they’re blaming me for what happened,” he said.
Flaminiano, meanwhile, said she is mulling the possible filing of a countersuit against Sucaldito for besmirching Concepcion’s reputation. She said Sucaldito should spare Concepcion of all the intrigues and focus on her.
Sucaldito, however, said Flaminiano’s offer was mere lip service since it was her and Concepcion who signed the contract.
He added, however, that he is open to settling the case out of court.
“I’m open with the setllement. Hindi bato ang puso ko. Mamon ito. Kaya nga bading ako eh. Mamon!”
