Just want to share some quick thoughts on the episode last night.
* Cutest moment: When Priscilla was teaching Beauty how to lip read. That was really good. By the way, ABS-CBN deserves credit for casting Priscilla. If one of the purposes of this show is to convince its viewers that we should see people with disabilities in a positive light, then they’re on their way of accomplishing that mission.
* Most touching moment: When the girls, particularly Jieriel and Rona, were talking about their dads. We hope that parents are also watching this show. It does tell us that kids have sensible thoughts.
* You gotta give kudos to Valerie for her proven interest in her pagka-Pinoy. Aba marunong pang kumanta ng Pinoy song ang batang ito. Her likability rating, to us Famewatchers at least, went up the roof when she taught her song to Priscilla and when they both sang it.
* It was good of Kuya to require the EuroPinoys (Alex and Kevin) to learn Filipino words. Seems like both of them were able to meet the challenge.
* This show continues on its track of showcasing the “friendship” between Robi and Josef and in effect the two are getting much more camera time than the others. We hope it doesn’t continue on this track for too long because it would be unfair to the other house mates. We haven’t seen much of Jolas for instance. And Linda, the beauty queen from Bicol, is also not very visible.
* Speaking of Jolas, we feel a little bad for him kasi parang wala siyang ka-BFF. We have the Nan-Ejay BFF, the Robi-Josef duo, then the EuroPinoys look like they are also BFFs. So Jolas is left out without a mate. Pero at least one of the girls have a crush on her.
* On the girls side, parang walang BFFs. Priscilla and Beauty are often seen together but that is because Beauty usually relays Kuya’s message to Priscilla. Sa girls side, it appears to be a one whole BFF girl team. Lahat sila BFFs, if that is possible.
* So far, we still haven’t found a house mate that we would love to hate. Seems like they’re pretty much a likable bunch. We thought Beauty will take up that role but she is kinda fun and likable.
