The guys at Vote for the Worst are disappointed that Ramiele Malubay has turned out to be a pretty good singer. They initially picked her as their top female contender for the Vote for the Worst vote but have since change their pick following her widely praised performance.

Hmm, seems like our girl Ramiele Malubay has scored well with bettors following her impressive performance last Wednesday. According to this site, Ramiele is the third most favorite to win American Idol with a 5-1 odds. She trails David Archuleta who was listed with odds of 5-2 and Michael Johns (11-4 odds).
The odds listed for other wannabe Idols are as follows: Syesha Mercado (6-1 odds), Jason Castro (8-1), Carly Smithson (8-1), and Asia’h Epperson (10-1).

Just as I suspected, this Archuleta kid is not Pinoy at all. It was just wishful thinking on the part of the reporter who mistakenly reported that he is.
Still there is a Pinay who made it to the Hollywood round in American Idol. Who is she? Ramiele Malubay from Florida. She impressed Randy and Paula. And Simon? Nope he wasn’t impressed. He was outvoted by the other two judges however so Ramiele made it to Hollywood.
