TV Monitor: Boys Next Door

Do you, by any chance watch GMA-7’s youth-oriented show, Boys Next Door? We think GMA actually spells it Boys Nxt Door without the E which is kind of silly.

We know of course that they are targetting the young fans who are so used to text messaging but really, the reason why we all have these interesting spelling in text messages is because of the limited number of letters/characters allowed in a message. So there’s really no excuse for GMA to spell Nxt without an E.

Heh! But enough with our nitpicking already. Anyway, we hope this show will do well because it stars the talent finds of GMA via its StarStruck search. It’s good that the network is providing a platform for these young people who might make it big someday.

Of the cast of Boy Next Door, we especially like Marky Cielo (winner of StarStruck 3) because he appears to be an actor na may range ang kanyang acting skills. He’s not like many actors in the biz na one dimensional ang acting. He is paired here with Glaiza de Castro.

The show also includes StarStruck 4 winner Mart Escudero, Kris Bernal, and Aljur Abrenica and other StarStrucker’s Jesi Corcuera and Rich Asuncion.
